Part Eight
Nick grabbed Tippy's hand and led her to the car they were taking to the club. He opened the door for her and she got in, then he got in and sat next to her. His bodygaurd drove them to the club and parked the car. Nick got out and reached for Tippy's hand. She grabbed his hand and held her jacket closed with the other hand. She climbed out of the car and walked with Nick to meet up with Krystal and the rest of the guys. They all entered the club and hung their jackets up.
"Tippy, babe, arent ya gonna take your jacket off?" Nick smiled.
"Yeah" she laughed.
"Here let me help you with that" Kev jumped.
She turned facing the door as Kev took her jacket off her back. She slowly turned around to see Nick and AJ grinning like kids in a candy store.
"Lets dance" she said grabbing Nicks hand and heading for the dance floor and smiling at Krystal.
They got out on the dance floor in time to catch the end of a fast song, then a slow song came on. AJ, Brian and Kevin decided to go get drinks. Krystal and Howie danced, as did Nick and Tippy.
"He finally has a girlfriend that doesnt think she is better then everyone else " AJ remarked.
"You oughta know how hard it is to find someone that is confident, but not conceited."
"Just be happy for him. He's still learning. Change the subject before someone over hears."
They continued talking until another fast song came on. AJ jumped on the dance floor as soon as the song came on and was dancing with every girl on the dance floor. Nick decided to go outside for a few minutes.
"I'll be right back, I just need to get some fresh air."
"Want me to come with you?"
"You're fine, just dance and enjoy yourself, its not everyday you get to come to a club in Scotland."
"You sure?"
"Yeah. Dance with AJ, I'll be right back."
She danced with AJ for a couple of fast songs, then "More Than That" came on.
"Just act normal, so its not as obvious we're here. Some people already know, thats why they're not letting anyone else in the club."
She wrapped her arms around his neck and put her head against his chest as he quietly sang along.
"Where's Nick anyways?"
"He went outside."
"Oh. Ok." he said, looking around.
They danced till Nick came back, then she continued dancing with Nick, till she started to get tired. Nick picked her up, grabbed her jacket and took her to the car. His bodygaurd took him to the hotel they were staying in and Nick laid her down on the bed.
"Nicky?"
"Yeah."
"Did you have fun?"
"Yeah, did you?"
"Yeah." she closed her eyes and was silent for a second. " I love you" she said as she fell asleep.
He turned the light off and laid on the other side of the bed. He looked at her and felt a single tear run down his cheek. "Why didnt you tell me sooner?" he whispered.
