Tippy woke up the next morning with her back to the door. She had just woke up when she heard a girls voice that seemed to be getting closer and closer. She decided to lay there a little longer before she got up.
"Yo, Carter, what ya lookin at?"
"Oh, hey Krys, Tippy."
"Why are you out here looking at her, go in and talk to her."
"Shh...she's still asleep."
"Oh." she said as she stopped next to him. "Come on Carter, man let her sleep, lets go get some coffee."
"Ok." he said as they walked off down the hallway.
"Where you going?"
"Down to get coffee."
"Why are you taking the stairs? What's wrong with the elevator?"
"Nothing." he said, going towards the elevator.
They got on the elevator and rode to the first floor in silence.
"Carter, man, what's eating you? You're never this quiet."
"Nothing. I'm just still half asleep."
"If you say so." she smiled.
"What was that supposed to mean?"
"You tell me."
"Huh? You just lost me there."
"I walk up to see you watching a girl sleep, and your completely zoned. Does Nicky have his first crush?" she teased.
He began to blush.
"I've only known her for a day, how can I have a crush on her?"
"Ever heard of love at first sight?"
"Yeah."
"Maybe that's what it is."
"I doubt it."
"What? You don't like her?"
"Yeah, I do. I mean, no, I don't. I don't know what I mean, I've only known her for a day, how can I have feelings for her?"
"I'll say, you've got feelings for her, you're so um...speechless. The girls got you wrapped around her little finger, and doesn't even know it yet."
"No she doesn't."
"We'll see about that." she smiled, hinting for him to turn around.
"I'll be right back." as he got up and walked towards Tippy.
"Hey Nick, what's up?"
"Not much. Come here for a sec, I wanna introduce you to someone."
"Ok."
She followed him to a table for two, one seat was occupied by a girl with short spiky hair and a big smile on her face.
"Tippy, this is Krystal. Krystal, this is Tippy. I'm gonna leave you two alone while I go take a shower."
He began out the door of the cafe when he heard Krystal's voice clear as day.
"Told ya Carter man, I told ya."
He smiled and walked off. The two girls talked for a little while, until Nick came back down and offered to take Tippy on a tour or London.
"You two be good, and be home at a decent hour." Krystal smiled as she threw her trash away and went back up to her room.
